Using HTC to put applications on Aria

The company producevarios HTC cell phones running Google s Android , including HTC Aria OS. You can install applications that are not purchased through the Android Market for your Aria using the HTC Sync program , which is available on the HTC website . Once the program is installed and configured the phone does not recognize the Android Market , it only takes a few clicks to download an app from your computer to your Aria. you will need USB Cable

instructions

1 Aria Tap the "Menu" button. Tap "Settings" and then click " Applications" . Tap " Unknown sources " to allow installation of non- Android Market on your phone.
2 Open the Web browser on your computer and go to the download page of HTC Sync 3.0 on htc.com .
3 Scroll to the bottom of the page and select HTC Sync in the drop down menu. Click the " Download" button and click " Save File" in the dialog box .
4 Run the downloaded installation file and follow the onLcd instructions to install HTC Sync program on your computer.
5 Connect the equipment Aria phone via the USB cable.
6 Toca "HTC Sync" in the dialog box that appears on your phone Aria.
7 Enter a name for your phone in the configuration computer box that opens in the HTC Sync window . Click " Save" to save the settings of the device.
8 Click " Application Installer " in the program window of HTC Sync on your computer. Click the checkbox next to " Install file operating system Android (APK ) " , click " OK" and then click the " Next" button.
9 Click " Browse" and navigate to the folder that contains the application you want to install on the Aria. The application will have the APK extension .
10 Click " Open" , "Next" and then "Finish " to install the application on your phone Aria.
11 Follow the installation instructions that appear on your phone to complete the installation .
